Consequences of Bearing failure
Bearing failure in low speed 2 stroke engines often causes high cost catastrophic damage, in his book The Story of an Engine , Ture Rinman, A Götaverken Publication No 482, Göteborg 1964 comments "The nasty part about bearing wear is, that it can, and often does, go on unnoticed until the damage is done"
